Track 3 Cultural Space Paper Presentation: The Impact of Cross-Cultural Competence in Leaders with Global or Multicultural Teams

Abstract: This paper examines research relating to building cross-cultural competence in leaders with globally-dispersed teams. The cross-cultural coaching models, tools, and frameworks explored provide strong possibilities for supporting global leaders. This approach enables organizations to integrate cross-cultural competence within their leadership development and talent management initiatives while achieving organizational objectives. Through this work, organizations create a “space” to foster a deeper understanding of cross-cultural differences.
